As a mother myself, I know just how fleeting these moments are. Nearly 15 years ago, when I had my own children, I picked up a camera and became obsessed with wanting to understand how my camera worked properly so that I could capture every tiny detail and moment of them growing up as beautifully and artistically as I could—because I knew how quickly they would change. That passion has grown into a love for preserving those precious first days, the gentle kicks before birth, and the quiet moments of new beginnings.

The Garden room
Step into The Garden Room, a beautifully designed garden studio in the heart of Gillingham, Dorset, created for relaxed and intimate newborn and maternity photography. I had The Garden Room designed with large windows so it is bathed in soft, natural light, this warm and inviting space is styled with a bohemian, organic touch; there is a soft comfortable bed layered with luxurious blankets so you can curl up, relax and enjoy your baby, whilst I photograph you. The Garden Room, is decorated with dried flowers grown right here in the garden, and has neutral, earthy tones that create a timeless backdrop for your session.

This is more than just a studio; it’s a safe, calming space where you can truly slow down, soak in those fleeting moments, and connect with your little one. Whether it’s the quiet stillness of newborn cuddles or the gentle anticipation of maternity portraits, The Garden Room is designed to help you feel at ease, allowing me to capture those natural, beautiful moments between you and your baby.
